Carsten Dachsbacher received the PhD (Dr-Ing) degree in computer science from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. He is professor of computer science in the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, and heads the Institute for Visualization and Data Analysis. His research interests include computer graphics, light transport simulation, interactive and perceptual rendering, and scientific visualization.
